With over 23 years of hands-on experience in the building industry, including 7 years dedicated to expert reporting and compliance analysis, Nicholas brings a rare blend of technical precision, legal fluency, and operational insight to every engagement.
His career spans high-end residential builds, architectural homes, and multi-unit developments. Having held senior roles as a carpenter, subcontractor, site manager, and project supervisor, Nicholas has overseen many large-scale builds delivered ahead of schedule and budget. His deep familiarity with construction processes is matched by his expertise in defect identification, compliance audits, and make-good assessments aligned with the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.
Nicholas is a qualified expert witness, regularly preparing reports for VCAT and court proceedings. His qualifications include Certificate III and IV in Building and Construction, and he holds registration as a Domestic Builder – Unlimited (DB-U 76247).
His consultancy is distinguished by a rigorous approach to building inspections and expert representation at VCAT and Supreme Courts.
